Opening Night in Lake Charles

The Detour Art exhibit opened Friday night at the Historic City Hall in Lake Charles, LA.  The turnout was terrific, and the exhibit itself was beautifully set up.  Imagine my shock when I was driving up to the building and saw the 2 story banner announcing the show!  Tidbit - after the show is over, they send the banner to the state prison, where it will be repurposed into bags.

Oh, and how can I forget the big moment?  After Mayor Randy Roach's introduction, he presented us with the key to the city.  Wow, what a surprise!
